Coleman Domingo is becoming my favorite actor. He can really make reading the phone book an exciting story. And he’s just as exciting as Madness now. The dialogue is almost embarrassingly bad. They try really hard to be sharp and edgy, but it comes off as very predictable and cliché. Right from the start, there are a lot of events in the story that just defy the most basic common sense. I constantly find myself asking myself, “why, why, why?” So much so that after the second episode I skipped episode 7 just to see what would happen at the end. I have almost no doubt that there won’t be much in the episodes I’ve missed, other than overloaded narration and unnecessary dialogue.
