Installation to external volume is likely to fail because external volumes are now owned by Root while booting from USB if you press 6 within a second Clover bootloader will load, instead of default Chameleon bootloader press 1 for Chimera

This distro supports MBR
so you can delete the first partition as “Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)” and install it without deleting the entire partition.
Atom users type “Kernel Cache” = /atom -v before boot
HP laptop users type “Kernel Cache” = /hp -v before boot.
