Partenope is a woman who has the name of her city. Is she a siren or a myth? In Greek myth, Parthenope is a siren who killed herself after failing to bewitch Odysseus. Her body was carried by a flood to the place where the Castel dell’Ovo is now built, and she gave the name to the city that would later become Naples, Naples. In the film, Partenope is the epitome of the city of Naples. HeatWritten by Peter GregsonPerformed by Peter Gregson, Warren Zielinski, Magdalena Filipczak, Laurie Anderson, Ashok Klouda. Paolo director Gary is 10/10. Great movie. An amazing director and an amazing actor. Gary Oldman definitely carried the whole movie and Paolo Sorrentino made a great choice in casting Gary Oldman as John Cheever. The story is good. The film is generally Artsy Fartsy, like all things Paolo Sorrentino. John Cheever is a great character played by the amazing Gary Oldman and his character is definitely what made the movie so good. Definitely worth a watch if you like Gary Oldman or art films. Paolo Sorrentino is a great director and the movie made me think about myself. It really is an underrated masterpiece.
