The opening credits show a variety of photographic and painted views and Oklahoma landmarks added to the New York landscape: A statue depicting the Sioux Indian chief “Touch the Clouds” wearing a martial law and bone breastplate placed on the Brooklyn Bridge. Route 66’s Western Gateway Arch was added to one of Manhattan’s most important streets. New York City, a borough of Manhattan, has several numbered “Avenues”.
I’ve loved “Tulsa King” so far
intersected by smaller streets Seen on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #45.7 (2022). I actually love everything Taylor Sheridan does, so I knew this would be no different. This is an entertaining crime series that knows exactly what it wants to be, and you can tell that the Sylvester Stallone-led cast all had fun filming it.
He thinks he’s getting a hero’s welcome, but instead he’s sent to Tulsa to run errands
It tells the story of a New York mob boss named Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), who is released from prison after 25 years. After not feeling the love he deserves from his gang, he starts building his own in Tulsa. Some of it might seem a little silly, but overall it’s a really good series that’s definitely worth checking out.
The series is apparently doing well, as it has already been renewed for a second season, which is great news!
